I think flying is one of the craziest things humans have accomplished. I just sit in awe whenever I’m on a plane.
I don’t owe cops any gratitude. If they don’t like their job, they should do us all a favor and quit.
Although I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t like a job that overpays them for life to sit around eating donuts, beating the crap out of people, and stealing their property with asset forfeiture.
Again, I’m all for acknowledging people for surpassing expectations, but if you’re paid to do a job, and you do it, no one OWES you any special gratitude.
